Guess who gets to break the chains of injustice and experience freedom for 48 hours??

That's right, my dad gets to come home for Thanksgiving this year!
No more cramming pecan pie in my pocket and smuggling it into Camp Alamosa. He has earned enough points for him to be allowed 48 hours of leave every month. As in he gets to get on a plane and fly to Denver all by himself and spend two whole days in his very own home!
Our justice system truly boggles the mind.
I can hardly wait for him to get here. I can hardly wait for us to experience 48 hours of normalcy. I can hardly wait to hear the familiar sound of his footsteps on the stairs and see his face at the dinner table.
I CAN HARDLY WAIT!
