How To Pull Off A Wedding in 10 Days - Day 8

Oh man, I love girlfriends, and yesterday was all about them! Claire wrapped up her last day of work as a non-married woman and came home to a decorated house and dinner almost on the table.

"Almost" because my brother dropped by just as I was finishing up and ate some of my food. So typical.

Here are a few shots of my two punk sibs:

And right after this shot, Claire's girls arrived. Thankfully.

We had dinner, chatted about the wedding and the mini-moon and dresses and everything in between. It was the first time I had seen Claire relax since this marathon began. These girls are so good for her. And I'm pretty partial to them too. They made the evening perfect!

Heather, Rosie, Claire, Rachel and Yours Truly.

Take Two.

Darling Kayla. She had to leave early so I snapped this picture.
(When in doubt, don't use a flash. Just don't.)

Sisters.

So the festivities have officially begun! Parents are flying in, pedicures are about to happen and all of the planning and preparation is beginning to pay off. Even though these last 8 days have been insane, I am beginning to think there is something to this short engagement. Claire always has been really smart.

Two more days, little sister!

  1. #1 - You don't know me, but my sister, Marcia, was one of Claire's roommates in college and I love Claire to pieces. She is one of the most amazing women I've ever met, but you already know how amazing she is. ;-)

#2 - You are hilarious. I love most things related to blogs, but your words are genuine, entertaining, intriguing, and did I mention hilarious? I just became your newest follower.

I can't wait to read more about the wedding! Eek! I'm so excited for her!
