Trivia Winner

Congratulations to Lizz! She is the proud recipient of something totally magnificent!

And just for all of you out there who are DYING to know the answer, here it is:

Question: There was only one town in the continental United States that was bombed during WWII. What is the name of that town and the date in which the bombing occurred?

Boise City, Oklahoma was the only city in the United States to be bombed during World War II. On Monday night, July 5, 1943, at approximately 12:30 a.m., a B-17 Bomber based at Dalhart Army Air Base (50 miles to the south of Boise City) dropped six practice bombs on the sleeping town. The practice bombs weighed 100 pounds each and contained four pounds of powder - the rest was sand. No one was killed in the attack. Several locations across town display the remains of these bombs.

Could you IMAGINE waking up to that noise? I would sue for lack of sleep. And probably loss of years off of my life.

Thanks for playing, peeps! You are the best.
